– BrianExceptional
As a dental professional, I’m very selective about who I trust with my family’s care — and Somerset Orthodontic Specialists is exceptional. Their clinical precision, clear communication, and genuine care for patients stand out. My son felt comfortable every step of the way; he especially loved their coin reward system — it kept him motivated and engaged throughout treatment. I highly recommend Somerset Orthodontic Specialists to anyone looking for top-tier orthodontic care.

Orthodontic Treatments in Hillsborough
Hillsborough Braces
Braces in Hillsborough remain one of the most effective and reliable ways to correct orthodontic concerns. They provide the precision and control needed to address crowding, spacing, bite issues, and other alignment problems while creating healthy, lasting results.
At Somerset Orthodontic Specialists, Hillsborough braces are available in both traditional metal and clear options. Dr. Peterman and Dr. Fogge will help you select the treatment that best fits your smile, goals, and lifestyle.
The metal or ceramic brackets, wires, and bands work together to apply gentle pressure that gradually moves the teeth into their ideal positions, as long as you have regular adjustments with our board-certified doctors.
Hillsborough Invisalign
Clear aligners are incredibly popular with both patients and orthodontists in Hillsborough and are the top alternative to traditional braces. Instead of brackets and bands, clear aligner systems use a series of clear, removable trays to gradually straighten your teeth.
Invisalign and our in-house aligners are made of a comfortable plastic material and customized to fit snugly over your teeth. To keep your teeth moving in the direction you want them to, you’ll need to switch your invisible trays out for the next one in the series every one to two weeks as directed by Dr. Peterman or Dr. Fogge.
Successful treatment depends on wearing your aligners consistently. For the best results, clear aligners should be worn 20–22 hours per day and removed only for meals and oral hygiene. Following your treatment instructions carefully helps keep your smile on track.
Our in-house and Invisalign aligners are at their most efficient when correcting many of the most common orthodontic issues. For some complex cases, clear aligners may not be a good option. A free consultation with Dr. Peterman and Dr. Fogge at Somerset Orthodontic Specialists in Hillsborough will allow us to determine your eligibility for removable treatment.
